Cancellation, Refund and Return Policy

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for educational journey subscriptions with A'Thurayya for Higher Education.

1. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Subscriber

  • More than 30 days before journey start: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • 15 to 30 days before journey start: 50% refund of the total subscription amount.
  • Less than 15 days before journey start: No refund is available due to committed costs with partner schools, accommodation, and travel arrangements.
  • After journey has started: No refund is available.

Cancellation by A'Thurayya

In the event that we cancel a journey due to insufficient enrollment, operational reasons, or force majeure events, subscribers will be offered:

  • A full refund of all amounts paid, OR
  • Transfer to an alternative journey of equal or lesser value.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Journey cancellation by A'Thurayya.
  • Visa rejection (with official documentation from the embassy).
  • Medical reasons preventing travel (with medical certificate).
  • Cancellation within the eligible timeframe as outlined above.

3. How to Request a Refund

  1. Submit a refund request via email to info@athurayya.com with your subscription number and reason for cancellation.
  2. Include any supporting documentation (visa rejection letter, medical certificate, etc.).
  3. Our team will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days.
  • Refunds for online payments (Bank Muscat SmartPay) will be credited back to the original payment method.
  • Refunds for bank transfers will be processed to the original bank account.
  • Refund amounts are in Omani Rial (OMR) based on the original payment amount.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Visa application fees (whether visa is approved or rejected).
  • Insurance premiums once the policy has been activated.
  • Any third-party services already rendered.

6. Partial Payments and Installments

For subscribers on installment payment plans:

  • Refund calculations are based on the total amount paid to date.
  • Outstanding installment obligations are cancelled upon approved cancellation.
  • Any overpayment will be refunded according to the timelines above.

7. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate your request by contacting us at info@athurayya.com. We will review your case within 10 business days.
